Mitch McConnell - US Senate Minority leader - who will most likely be the Majority Leader should the Republicans take the Senate in next week's election - was asked asked last week to outline the Republican Agenda for running the nation after the election by the National Journal.  Mitch replied:

MCCONNELL: The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president.
